Hi Oppie Club, we've got a blog!
The next sailing session is Sunday 24th May at 10:00. I expect the weather to be better than the last few sessions! Well done to those who were able to attend last week as we managed to do some work in the hanger towards the Oppie achievement certificates.
Let's use this blog to keep everyone informed and for any feedback that the parents and children would like to make.

Weather looks good for sunday

Lonely on this blog. Would be great if you boys and girls posted you thoughts on what you would like to do at the sessions. We will try and accomodate within reason. Sea is getting much warmer so we should be able to spend more time having fun in the water.

In case you had not realised, this year's regatta will take place on Saturday 13 June 2009. Parents don't forget to bring a wetsuit or clothes that you don't mind getting wet for the parent's race!
Who was supposed to be Shoreside last Sunday (28/06/09)? Nobody there so a kind soul took the money and recorded on/off water on a piece of paper! It was touch & go whether the children would even get on the water at one point as there weren't enough trained leaders present. A case of 'best laid plans'???
